Lake Joy Campground ATV Trails

Lake Joy Campground is proud to be part of the Tri-County ATV Trail System, and we welcome all campers who want to ATV/UTV and enjoy the beautiful southwest Wisconsin countryside. As part of the trail system, we adhere to Wisconsin All-Terrain Vehicle Rules. In addition, we have ATV/UTV rules that are enforced on the campground for the safety of all of our campers. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these rules which will maintain a safe and courteous environment for all campers.

No ATV's with altered mufflers or non-stock mufflers are allowed on the campground.

You may only use your ATV for transportation from your campsite to the trails and back to     your campsite from the trails. ATVs may be driven to and from trails only; not to the office, beaches, showers etc. Please read/adhere to ATV rules. They are posted on the bulletin board in front of game room. Side by side UTV’s may be driven throughout the campground.

Helmet use is required at all times by ATV riders 18 years of age and younger.

Speed limits are 10 mph; drive single file and remain on right side of the road.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent at all times while driving         an ATV on the campground.

ATV’s may be driven only on paved roads to your campsite or on the gravel road to the          campsites located in the primitive tent area.

ATV’s are not allowed on the dam, the north side of the lake or in the fenced area located       behind the main shower house.

ATV’s may not be operated during the campground’s quiet hours of 11pm-9am

ATV riders are expected to operate their vehicles as quietly as possible to maintain                 a relaxing campground environment.

We sell gasoline for your ATV at the office.

You must obtain trail passes/ATV registration before going onto the trails. You can do so online for your ATV at:
